Molly Fusarelli '17 Recruiting Profile

 I was officially introduced to volleyball at a very young age. I started formally playing volleyball on a middle school team in seventh grade, however at the age of seven I attended high school practices and games that my Aunt coached. I have participated in a multitude of clinics and camps over the years and still continue to play and participate in volleyball year round. Any opportunity to practice or scrimmage, I take in a heartbeat without any hesitation. To say the least, volleyball has been an extremely important aspect in my life that I have been highly dedicated to. This sport has helped shape me into the person I am today, and taught me a great many lessons in life about hard work, dedication, resilience, and attitude. This sport has helped me grow immensely as an athlete and a person, and without it I am not sure I would be the same motivated individual I am today.
One reason why I am an excellent candidate for any college team is because of my tireless focus and discipline. I play volleyball, and train all year round. Every practice no matter how long, is given the same amount of intensity and focus as a tournament. Every training session and workout I try to push myself so I will be able to yield better results and preform even better than I did before. I am highly devoted to improving my skills and any critique I am given by a coach or even a teammate I take into account and utilize to improve my game.
 My hard working mentality also extends equally to my academics as well. I am extremely dedicated to my education and my future, and I work extremely hard to maintain a high GPA. I am continually involved in many extracurricular activities, for example I am actively involved in many community service projects, through my schools Build-on chapter. One goal of mine in college is to major in Elementary Education and get my degree in teaching. 
I differ from other recruits in character because I have a strong, no quit personality. No matter what the score is in any game, or rally, I will do anything to side out and get the next point. I have an infectious personality and no matter what the scenario, I try to bring my teammates up. I am also very hard working, and when I set my mind on something, I work hard to achieve it .
