My name is Emily Waters, I am an 11th grader at Space Coast jr/sr High school. School is very important to me, I strive to keep all of my grades high. I am now taking 2 honors classes and a digital design class along with an FLVS spanish 2 class. School is my number one priority but my second is being a volleyball athlete. My interest in volleyball first started when my older cousin who has played volleyball all of her high school years taught me some of the basic skills in volleyball. She inspired me to play the sport i love now. I have always been an active child, from being a cheerleader, dancer, being on a gymnastics team, playing club volleyball and now being on my schools first ever beach volleyball team. I was on a club volleyball team called Ohana for one year being the libero on the team. Even though I only have one year experience playing club volleyball and just now starting to play beach volleyball all of the volleyball skills and techniques to play feel natural to me. One of my biggest goals is to play for a college volleyball team in Florida, while studying to get a major degree in marine biology. I am a very hard worker while doing my absolute best in school being on a beach volleyball team and having a job it can come with a lot of stress but the goals I have for my future makes me work harder then ever to reach the success I have been working for. I am a great team player when it comes to volleyball I try my best to bring joy to my teammates. My preferred position is a Libero.
