Miranda Leon '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Miranda Leon, and I am a Libero/Defensive Specialist for the Class of 2022.I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. In the future, I intend to go into  Liberal Arts. 

I started my career in the summer of 2017. I was so captivated by competitive volleyball that I began to play in my school’s team and participated in a few camps nearby. Ever since that moment, I knew in my heart that I wanted to keep playing volleyball for the rest of my life.

One of the greatest things that I believe I possess is the ability to quickly adapt and progress; Many coaches have complimented me on that basis. I have gotten to this level with only a few years under my belt and I am sure that in the future, my skill will only rise. Another term that defines me is Team Player. I have been asked to play different positions throughout my career and I would happily accept the challenge! I have played almost every position so I would be able to help my team in anyway I can.  I also believe that I am incredibly open-minded and coachable, I am willing to do whatever to enhance my skills and the game overall.
