I attend a high achieving college preparatory high school, and I work very hard for my grades. I am also involved with chamber chorus at school, and I've been crazy about music from a very young age. Singing and listening to music -- all kinds -- brings me lots of joy. I've studied and played Suzuki violin from ages 4 to 14; I also play a little guitar. Additionally, I'm an avid traveler, and I've been fortunate to visit much of the USA with my family, and have experienced numerous international vacations too.
I've been playing both indoor club and beach volleyball since age 11, and I'm extremely passionate about both. My coaches have all told me that I am very coachable and have a heavy hand, that I'm smart with the ball and quick to adjust, and that I'm mentally tough and have a great attitude. They have described me as a teammate that lifts up my fellow players. My teammates are my sisters, and I love the camaraderie and community that comes with being part of a team. I would love to be a student athlete in college, and I'm considering studying in the field of health professions.
