I am a Junior at Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, Georgia and I want to attend a college with a strong academic reputation and a competitive volleyball program with good coaches and players. It is important that the college I attend have law, political science, criminal justice or similar programs to support my goal of becoming a doctor. I also have an interest in finance and accounting.
I started playing golf at the age of 4 years old and many times beat the boys in long drive golf contests, but after playing volleyball on my dad's YMCA team, I realized that I loved volleyball a lot. I knew volleyball was for me. In Arizona, I was hurt to not make my middle school team as a 5th grader and I pushed myself to to get better by working harder. After our family moved to Georgia, I earned a spot on a team at one of the top volleyball clubs in the country, A5 in Atlanta, Georgia. I am a passionate volleyball team player and always ready to play my hardest for my team even when I am not feeling well. I enjoy practicing with my team and learning new things to make me a better player. I lift weights, agility train, take one-on-one lessons as well as participate in group training and clinics outside of my club volleyball practices to make me a better player. I love "blocking" and how a good block gets my team pumped up. I really love volleyball a lot!
