Madison Dorsey '22 Recruiting Profile

As a freshman in highschool being told that I will get to play and travel with the Varsity team is the best moment of my volleyball career, until I was told I would be a starting all around player on the Varsity team as a sophomore!  

I’ve been playing volleyball since I was in 4th grade.  I played school ball all the way through middle school and have continued to play while in high school. I have also played club ball for Adrenaline the past three years (2018 / 2019 / 2020) and will continue my volleyball career this year with GAVC on the 17s Power Team.  

Playing high school volleyball, as well as very competitive club ball, has taught me a lot. I’ve learned that I am a very hard worker and want what is best for my team.  I have also learned that I am a natural leader and encourager when it comes to my teammates!  All of these attributes, make me a great candidate for your volleyball team.  

I am different academically, in that, I am in all honors classes as well as dual enrolled in college courses this school year.  I was the Senator of my Sophomore class and am a School Ambassador for my high school.  I have also been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA while playing high school and club ball. 

I’m very excited about where my volleyball and academic career is going to take me!  Hopefully, it will be on your team roster!
