Kennedy Kimbro '21 Recruiting Profile

My experience is that of 8 years of school and club volleyball and also 3 years of sand volleyball experience.  I have been captain of both my school and club teams since the start of my sophomore year.  Being captain and being a leader and example both on and off the court is not something I take lightly and the hope is that my character, abilities and leadership leaves a lasting legacy for every program I am blessed to be a part of.  I have been All-Region all 4 years on Varsity and All-State the last 3 years as well.   I just finished my Senior Season by winning a state championship and being named MVP.  

You will not find another player more devoted and harder working than myself.  Whether I am coming in as a full scholarship player, partial scholarship player or a PWO, I play volleyball with a passion for winning and for my teammates and coaches.  I want to earn my place within my volleyball family each and every day.   I am dedicated to making myself better every time I take the court, whether that is standard practice or getting extra work in.  I love to succeed, but even more than that I love sharing that success with my teammates and coaches.  

I just finished a year of JUCO Volleyball at USC-Sumter and was voted 1st Team All Conference.  I took this year to hone my skills and become a better player.  Now it is time to move forward find a new home and a new team family at a larger school.  I am looking to commit to a university that shares my passion for success and embodies a unity and team spirit that relies on each other on and off the court.  My sacrifice transcends the court to my academic pursuits and also to my character as I strive to be a leader both on the court and in life.  Thank You in advance for taking the time to consider me as a part of your volleyball family.
