Sadie Parkerson '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm Sadie Parkerson!! I am a Class of 2024 setter from Kennesaw, GA. I grew up playing basketball, softball, and flag football, but tried volleyball in 5th grade and fell in love with the game.  By 7th grade, I knew I wanted to become a great volleyball player, so I started playing club and committed myself year-round to becoming a college setter!

I have played varsity for my high school team since freshman year. In my freshman year, I finished 1st on the team in points on serve, 2nd in aces and serve percentage, and 3rd in digs. In both my sophomore and junior years, our team won the state championship!

In club, I have been captain and starting setter for the last 4 years at Rio VBC and 575 VBC. I love intense volleyball training and our coaches' passion for the game gets me pumped and fired up on the court. I try to never miss practice and consistently do 1-on-1 setter training sessions between practices to perfect my touch, ball placement, and footwork.

I have a strong passion on the court and love to help my teammates get the perfect kill. Setter is my natural position, but I just love volleyball and will play anywhere that will help my team win. If the team needs points, I hit. If the team needs defense, I play DS. I will do anything to help my team get to 25 before the other team does!!
