My name is Rory Schuler and I'm a class of 2023 Libero/DS. I now play for OTVA J JOHN out of Jacksonville. My jersey number is #7 and my head coach is John Goings.
A little about me:
I currently hold a cumulative GPA of 3.92/4.0. I have previously been Vice President on Student Council my Sophomore and Junior year. Currently was selected as a member of the Student Athlete leadership committee. I was also nominated and selected as the Junior Rotarian of the month for the city of Richmond Hill this past November.
I'm a natural-born leader and I set examples for others
I actually created my team's slogan for my Junior year season. "Never Satisfied." A short saying that I live and breathe by. I wanted something easy to say and multiple meanings that could be shrunk into two words. My freshman year, my high school team lost in the sweet sixteen, and sophomore year we lost to the state champs in an elite eight home game. I thought that this phrase was perfect. We aren't satisfied with finishing in the elite eight. We want to be state champions. We want those rings. This slogan is easy to say and I believe is our key to a successful season.
