Marissa Daniel '17 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for this opportunity to express my interest to play volleyball in college.  My interest for volleyball began in 8th grade.  I started my freshman year & played JV.   I made the Varsity team my sophomore year. & fell in love with the game!  I recently finished my Junior year.  I love the intensity of volleyball & stay conditioned by playing the sport all year in summer & fall seasons for my school, as well as travel w/ club teams during the winter.  I play Libero and feel confident that I can prove effective on the court.  I also have experience as a Setter & Outside Hitter.  Volleyball has challenged me over the years, setting my standards higher & making me work harder to achieve my goals.  I credit my high school volleyball coach in helping me to build my character & express myself on the court.  He instilled dedication & commitment in me to the program.   I am a quick learner and easy to get along with.  I hope to go to a Southeastern college & play at a collegiate level while majoring in healthcare.  I am a good student and maintain a B+ average.  I'm enrolled in college preparatory classes & in a healthcare career pathway.  My dreams consists of playing for college & furthering my education in healthcare.  I would like to study physical therapy & work in sports medicine.
