My name is Alexx Torres and I am passionate about my future and how I can better this world. I have been playing volleyball competitively for over eight years, and I love the sport with my entire being. The wonderful thing about my love for this sport is how it has given me opportunities to prepare for my collegiate future. Apart from my long-standing love for volleyball, I  am a passionate writer specifically in journalism and news broadcasting writing. 

I pride myself on my ability to communicate and build enduring relationships with all my teammates. I am a great candidate for your team if you appreciate a coach-able and hardworking individual who has long known dedication and the desire to improve. In my eyes, college volleyball is my way to prepare for a future in an ever-changing environment and continue to better my teamwork and communication skills. 

I am a person of character who has always been grateful for my education and is in a never-ending pursuit for more knowledge. I am far too familiar with extra hours at the gym, thousands of reps, and have had my fair share of sports-related injuries- which only drives me to get up again and continue down this road of athletic and academic devotion. I have been able to balance my 4.7 GPA alongside three demanding extra-curricular activities. I am a passionate debater, leading sports manager at my high school, as well as being the captain for multiple volleyball teams. I am a reliable and transparent individual, and I would want nothing more than to better your team should I be given the opportunity.
