I maintained vigorous throughout my four years of high school doing extracurriculars; and, this led to recognition in athletics and academics. I was the varsity MVP volleyball player 3 years in a row and led my team to regional finals in my freshman, junior, and senior year. Simultaneously, I maintained above a 4.0 GPA all 4 years of high school, was voted Vice President of the National Honor Society, and am currently competing for valedictorian because I rank #4 in my class. Other activities I enjoyed doing in high school included running in a half-marathon, learning guitar, learning chess, and volunteering for leadership roles in my community. In conclusion, I learned a lot about myself and my strengths. My leadership, self-discipline, and growth attitude are my assets. Through my dedication to handling athletics and academics at a high level of performance, as well as, communicating with my teammates and classmates both inside and outside of the classroom, I gained leadership qualities. I also remained self-disciplined by being ambitious and striving for higher goals in my work—whether it be academically or athletically—for more competitiveness. Last but not least, I developed a growth mindset by using short-term goals to help with long-term objectives while still overcoming online learning.
