Since I’ve started playing volleyball in 6th grade, I knew that I wanted to reach my highest potential. I have been playing sports my whole life, volleyball, basketball, and softball, and they have always been a good outlet for me. They have provided me with life lessons that I couldn’t learn from a textbook, such as teamwork and leadership skills that I can use forever. I feel my intelligence has gotten me far, but my love for volleyball has heightened my desire to succeed. I think I have a great idea of the anatomy of volleyball, but my athletic ability, versatility, and mental toughness set me apart. I love the idea of having a built-in-family on the court and I think building relationships is important in sports. In college, I want my experience to have a lasting impact on me, and being on a team would be everything I ever hoped for.
