Hi I'm Katie Whitson and I'm 15 years old. I am currently a sophomore in high school at Deer Creek Mackinaw High School. I play on Junior Varsity and Varsity as well as a travel team at Eastside Volleyball Club. I am currently on 16u Lightning and we travel across the country to compete in tournaments. I plan to play in college at the highest level possible, as I am very competitive. I have always been a team leader and I am captain for the Junior Varsity 2023 team. I always hustle at practice, give 110%, and work the hardest that is possible everyday. In games I hustle to the ball, move my feet quickly, and talk loud as that is essential to playing volleyball. While I am determined on the court, I am also determined off the court. Academically, I study extremely hard and work to have a 4.0 GPA.
