I have loved the sport of volleyball since I was 6 years old. Each year I strive to improve my skills on the court. I have played club ball for six years to gain valuable court time and improve my volleyball IQ. My hard work allowed me to be the only freshman to make a very competitive varsity team in 2017. Sophomore year, I earned a starting spot on our varsity team that reached the Sectional championship game. Junior year, our team again made Sectionals, and I earned 1st Team All-Conference, 2nd Team All-Area, and team MVP. I have been a leader on many of my teams bringing high energy and a positive attitude to help my team achieve its full potential.
Along with finding a college with a competitive volleyball program, finding a school with an excellent academic program is extremely important to me. I maintain a 4.16 while taking AP and accelerated classes at Dee-Mack High School. I learn valuable time management skills being involved in many rewarding extracurricular activities, such as FBLA, Student Council, National Honor Society, and many charitable events. My leadership skills were recognized when I was the only student from Dee-Mack High School nominated for the Illinois Leadership Seminars in 2019. My goal is to find a college where I can achieve success in both athletics and academics at the highest level possible.
