Growing up, I watched my sisters play different sports and find their passion. At first, I tried gymnastics and then soccer, but I never felt the same passion that my sisters talked about. Finally, when I was old enough to play volleyball for my school, I instantly fell in love. I loved every part of the game, competing, the adrenaline rush, and playing with my teammates. Throughout my years of club, and school volleyball I have learned how to be a dedicated player, how to persevere, and lead my team no matter how hard the challenges may be. I have also learned how to better myself as a player on and off the court. I give 100% and play every ball like it's the last point. I love being pushed to be the best I can, and I am a very versatile player. I have played outside, middle, and right side during my high school volleyball career. I adapt very well to my surroundings, coaches, and positions. I have an undeniable passion for this sport and want to continue my career at the collegiate level.
I am looking for a school that not only provides a great volleyball program but a great academic program. Not only have I pushed myself on the court, but I also push myself academically which has led me to be one of the top 10 in my class for the past 4 years. I aspire to pursue a career in exercise science, or athletic training, so when I am not playing volleyball, I can still be around the sport that I care very much for. If 2020 has taught me anything it’s that this game means the world to me and I couldn’t imagine not playing.
