Personal Statement
I picked up a volleyball at the age of ten and have been playing ever since, starting on my grammar school volleyball team. Immediately my mom saw a talent in me I did not realize at the time I had. My mother put me in league ball, and I played almost 365 days a year until Covid. If I wasn't playing in a tournament, I trained and participated in Camps. Through Volleyball, I have gained skills that I use off and on the court. Since freshman year, I have played Varsity ball and had the incredible opportunity to learn from outstanding coaches and players.
I aspire to become a part of a volleyball program that is on a competitive level. I am a very versatile player and have had the opportunity of playing all positions except libero. I strive to be a great team player who motivates my fellow teammates. I strive to be a role model to all girls that inspire becoming volleyball players; I do this through team spirit, lifting my fellow players, and setting an excellent example in athletics and academics. I am confident that I will make a great addition to any university and would be honored to be a part of a great volleyball family.
