Some of the accomplishments I have achieved over my high school career are being on High Honor Roll all four years, reaching my 2,008 assists in Volleyball in 2022, going to State in 2021 and 2022, getting Runner-Up in the State Finals in 2022, 2022-ILVBPREP All-State Honorable Mentions Team, 2022-First Team All-Conference, 2022-News Gazette State Honorable Mention 100, SJR All Area Team Selection, 2021 State Final (4th place), and being named 2021-Second Team All-Conference. All this could not have been achieved without God giving me the ability to have this special talent to share and build relationships with others to achieve.
I want to thank my parents for making me work for things instead of them just handing it to me. I'm motivated to support your education environment in whatever way I can and would love to support your institute. My high school, Lutheran High School, is more than a place to study; it's a family, and in the future, I hope to find a new family as I continue my passion for volleyball and continuing my education.
When it comes to thinking about the future, I am very determined to go after what I want in life. I grew up in a childhood where I knew I was not like most kids that were in my class. I grew up knowing that if I wanted what the other kids were given, I would have to work ten times harder for it. My parents taught me that nothing in life is just going to be handed to you. You have to work hard to achieve your goals. My goals in life are to help our community and eventually help to make it a safer and healthier place to live. I'm passionate about assisting others, therefore if I'm given a task, I'll give it everything I have got. In the future, I see myself helping others in ways, such as by working hard and assisting with criminal investigations.
Thank you for your consideration!
Sincerely,
Caleina Herman
