Nina Schuberth '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nina Schuberth, I live in Yorkville, IL.  I am 16, and am a Junior in High school in the 2021/2022 school year.  I attend Yorkville Christian High School, and have been playing club volleyball since 9 years old.  My parents have been married for over 25 years, I have four sisters, you read that correctly, there are 5 of us girls.  My parents own their own business, they work so hard, I appreciate everything they have done for me.  I am a libero, I love the game of volleyball, I take charge on the court, I am the leader of my team.  For High School I am a setter, I love setting, but my position is libero.  I am very ambitious, I work hard, I try to stay humble and always respectful to my team and coaches.  I play for Club Fusion and last year was on the top team, 16 Red.  This season, I am on 18 Red.  I will be honest, I hate to lose, whoever said winning isn't everything, never won anything.  When we are losing a game, I still stay positive and pump up my team until the very end, I never give up and give it my all.
