Raven Russell '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Raven and I graduate high school in 2026. I love playing both court and beach volleyball. I have played volleyball since I was in elementary school at camps and it is something that I always wanted and loved to do. But it is not the only thing that I do. I am also active within my high school, being a member of DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), mentor within "Big Sis - Little Sis", member of the student diversity club, and participate in my school's HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) council.  In 2025, I placed first in state in the Clinical Nursing division of the HOSA conference and was awarded a technical school scholarship.  My passion is volleyball, but I also look forward to exploring the field secondary education for my future career. For me, playing volleyball is something that whatever is going on, good or the bad, it enables me to tune it out for a bit and just play. Some can say that volleyball is just a sport, but to me it's also a small part of what I was created to do for this time in my life, however long that may last.
