Kayla Gumbel '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2023 graduate of Bishop Luers High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. My passion for volleyball has grown since I began playing in third grade and continues to grow. As an outside hitter, my vertical  jump and blocking ability will be an asset to my college team. I am dedicated to my teams and strive to make each repetition better than the last to lead the team.  I am extremely coachable and welcome constructive criticism.  I keep a level head throughout ups and downs.  I excel in the classroom and on the court, and prefer to lead by example. My faith is important in my family, sport, and academics. I am excited to pursue a degree in Pre-Med while contributing to the success of my team and building lasting friendships.
