I remember ever since I was younger I was fascinated by volleyball with the combination of team work and drive to be better I fell in love with it. However, I didn't get the chance to play until my freshmen year in high school. Since then I've been giving this sport all I have from the beginning. Starting later than most people I knew it would take a lot of hard work outside of the sport, in the weight room, volleyball clubs, watching endless hours of film and absorbing all the information I can during practices to become a better, more well rounded payer. I went from sitting the bench on the Freshmen team to being a starter on varsity my junior year. I would love more than anything to continue my passion for the sport and I'll do anything to achieve that opportunity to continue to do what I love. Volleyball has built up my confidence in ways that don't just reflect on the volleyball court but in my day to day life. I've built bonds that will last a life time and created mental toughness that comes with the drive to be better at what I love. I want to continue this journey of doing what brings me joy and build off of what I've worked for.
I look foreword to continuing my competitive volleyball career in the years to come.
