February 2023Personal Statement
I have been playing volleyball since fifth grade, starting with rec leagues then advancing to school and club programs. I have always loved the sport, however I became passionate for the game with college dreams in the fall of 2021. My sophomore season was pivotal and one of the best team experiences I've ever had. I developed as a player significantly and even received the Most Improved Player award. More importantly, I was surrounded by an amazing group of young women and coaches working together to be better than we were yesterday. A truly memorable season. In college, I plan to study Psychology and specifically work to become a counselor one day. I have always been curious about how our minds work, the way they work and find joy in helping people whether thats giving them advice or just listening.
