Shelby Lasure '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I'm Shelby Lasure, a 2023 Outside Hitter in my 8th year of playing volleyball. I am a highly competitive, passionate, and dedicated teammate who takes pride in being the hardest working and most coachable athlete on the court. I believe hard work, honesty, accountability, and dependability are the core values that will help me reach my goals of playing volleyball at the collegiate level. 

I have grown tremendously in my 8 years of playing this sport I love. While balancing a rigorous academic schedule I have advanced from starting JV as a freshman, being pulled to varsity in the middle of my sophomore year, then starting varsity as a junior, I have taken every challenge presented to me and made it an opportunity to learn about myself, my strengths, and my opportunities for growth. I look forward to continuing that development as a player, teammate, and student as a collegiate volleyball athlete.
