Personal Statement

Hii, my name is Salma Ylitalo a 5'9 class of 2028 middle blocker from Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. On and off the court I am known for my coachability, passion and drive for the sport. I hold a 3.93 gpa for the 2024-2025 school year taking 2 honors classes.

I have been playing competitively in the LDCS league as a starting middle blocker for three years with my high school team the Doulos Lobos and local summer tournaments with a u-15 club. I'm looking for a college program that challenges me academically and athletically where I can grow in my faith in Christ, as a student, athlete and teammate.
