My name is Riley Morgan and I am a 5’8 junior setter that is pursuing the dream of playing collegiate volleyball and getting the best education I can, possibly in the medical field. I have been playing various sports and competing since I was five years old. I have competed in golf, soccer, basketball, and softball, and am now focusing my efforts on volleyball, which is my true passion.
For the past 6 years I have played club volleyball. My 2015 All Iowa Attack 14u team and my 2016 Central Iowa select 15u team played in the Girls Junior National Championships (National division) in New Orleans and Indianapolis, respectively. My Ankeny Centennial high school team has won back to back Iowa 5A State Championships in 2014 and 2015. In June 2016 I attended the Sports Performance Setter 2 camp in Chicago for my ongoing effort in taking my setting skills to the next level.
I am committed to playing at the highest level of volleyball, as well as achieving success in my college education and preparation for a career. I aspire to study medical biology or pre-med at a college where student-athletes can achieve excellence in both academics and athletics.
