Personal Statement
I am a 5'10 setter/right side from Red Oak, Iowa. I am also involved in basketball, track, and tennis. My first love is volleyball and I want to continue playing at the college level. My sophomore 2014 season Red Oak made it to the state semifinals where we then lost to Mount Vernon. Red Oak was ranked second in the Hawkeye Ten behind Harlan the 4-A state champions. The 2015 season we made it to the district play off losing to Kuemper Catholic. I was the main setter for 2015 running a 5-1 rotation. Volleyball is a passion of mine and I strive to better myself and teammates to be the best that we can be. I work hard in the classroom, ranked 2nd in my class with a 4.0 GPA. Academics are very important to me as I wish to major in Finance/Accounting. I can't wait to start the next chapter of my life at college with volleyball being a big part of my experience.
