Ashlyn Fast '21 Recruiting Profile

I began playing volleyball in sixth grade and have been playing it ever since. My sophomore year of high school I went through a really dark phase in my life where I lost all confidence in myself and in my athletic abilities. That was when I was offered the opportunity to join a local club volleyball team and playing with them pulled me out of the funk I was going through.Volleyball has allowed me to learn confidence, communication, and has taught me how important an attitude can be. Even if my team is behind, I will always be the most encouraging player on the team, getting excited for every point. I am energetic, driven and a great team player. I am looking for a team that will allow me to grow both as a student and as an athlete with a team that encourages each other well.
