I have loved the sport of volleyball since the age of 6 years old. I would love to continue my career at the college level and also get a great education as well. I am a hard worker that strives for what I want and surrounds myself around people who are going to influence me for the best and help me grow into a better person and better teammate/player. I love to be challenged off and on the court. I am the happiest when I can perform for my team, coaches, and teachers the way they need me to.
Throughout the years of playing volleyball, I have learned that mental toughness and being volleyball smart on the court are some of the most important aspects of the game. I have also learned that being positive and encouraging when a teammate or I make a mistake is big when wanting to get better and do what needs to be done to get through the next point. I personally work on keeping my teammates and I heads high when a mistake is made during any time on and off the court. One of my best character traits is that when I do make a mistake or multiple mistakes, I am always putting my mind to the next play so that I can showcase that I am able to do that task that is asked of me. I am a very competitive player and want to do my best for my team and coaches.
I plan on majoring in Sports Medicine because I have always been very fascinated with the muscle in our body and how I can be able to heal them for other athletes. I am a strong student in school. I am enrolled in Honors classes and have always maintained a 3.5 or higher in school. I have lettered in academics and made Honor Roll on multiple occasions.
