I’ve always had a passion for volleyball since I’ve started playing. However, there were life altering events that made me decide to want to play at the collegiate level. In 2016, I lost the total use of my right arm and wrist for over a year due to a complication from shoulder surgery. I believe it is this that makes me stand out amongst other players, as I have had to work so much harder just to be able to move my arm again, let alone play volleyball at the level I do. I’m enrolled in AP and advanced classes in school and receiving honorable grades, all while practicing and working out everyday. I aspire to continue playing volleyball for as long as I can at the best level I can.
