Hello, my name is Sophia DiPhilippo, I’m a 17 year old rising Senior at Gorham High School in Gorham, Maine. I play two Varsity sports, softball and volleyball. I have been a varsity softball player since my Freshman year. In both my Sophomore and Junior years, I was named All Conference. I have been a varsity volleyball player since my Sophomore year. As a Sophomore, I made All Conference Team. As a Junior I was a Captain and made All Conference First Team and the All State First Team.
My biggest future goal is to become a Physical Therapist. In doing so, I am looking for a school that meets both my academic and athletic needs. I would like to continue playing sports at the highest level possible for me, while still being able to balance good grades and a social life.
I have been playing softball since I was 8 years old and began playing volleyball at 11. I have been blessed to be able to grow up with incredible role models who have been able to make me a better player and person, with an older sister and parents who have always pushed me to become the best I can be. I feel as though starting at such a young age has made me a very coachable athlete and great teammate. I plan to attended a school that can help me to continue growing as an athlete and meet my personal goals as well.
