I am currently a 5’10 athlete and student at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, and selected to the Varsity team my freshman year. I set a 5-1, but have years of experience hitting in all front row positions. I have played club volleyball since the age of 11 and gained much experience being part of several successful travel teams, qualifying for the USAV Girls National Championships 3 times. I am honored to have also been chosen by my club coaches for the role of team captain the last two years.
I currently hold a 3.85 GPA and a 4.14 weighted GPA. I am the vice president of the USO Treat the Troops club at my high school, which provides support for our men and women in uniform, as well as their families. I have a passion for music and language as well. I have played cello for 5 years, completed 3 years of French, and I am taking my first year of Spanish this year.
My ultimate goal is to attend a college where I can achieve both my academic and athletic pursuits. Being part Filipino, I am also looking for a school with the diversity I have enjoyed growing up with. While the commitment at the college level is challenging, I am confident that with my leadership skills and talents, I can truly assist my team and meet the demands of a rigorous academic program. I am a driven individual and will bring leadership, personality and versatility to any team.
