Torrien Jones '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Torrien Jones. I was 6 months old when I took my first sports-related class. It was a swim class. My love of sports and activities grew from there. In addition to swim classes, I took dance for 9 years, where I participated in recitals and competitions. I played soccer, competitive cheer, played the baritone from 4^th to 8^th grades and played basketball for that same time too! I love to compete and perform. But it wasn’t until I played club volleyball for the first time in 8^th grade that I feel like I found my favorite sport. I love all sports and hope to one day become a sports journalist or reporter. I am passionate about equal rights for all people, especially the marginalized. I look forward to sharing my talents and growing in volleyball in my collegiate years.
