I’m a passionate volleyball player, with a love for the sport deeply ingrained in me from my parents’ fondness for the Brazilian national volleyball team. My journey in volleyball began in 8th grade, attending camps and clinics, and has since grown into a defining part of my life.
In my freshman year of high school, I joined the JV team and quickly absorbed a wealth of knowledge from the older players. My love for the sport deepened when I joined a club, and I found myself thriving on the challenge of learning new skills. I’m proud to say that I’m a quick learner and a natural leader, always ready to voice my thoughts and ideas.
My sophomore year saw me starting as a libero on the JV team, a position I relished. I was honored to serve as one of the team’s captains, always striving to maintain a positive atmosphere on the court. I’m a competitive player, but I believe in the power of positivity and the importance of keeping the team’s energy high.
Off the court, I’m just as dedicated. I’m an A’s and B’s student, with high expectations for myself and a strong value for education. I’m looking forward to attending a 4-year college and pursuing a career in public relations.
I’m known for my work ethic, always arriving early to practices and leaving late. I hustle, I’m never afraid to ask questions, and I’m always looking for ways to improve. I believe in pushing myself to be the best I can be, both in volleyball and in life.
