Payton Swinton '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Payton Swinton, and I am a left-handed opposite hitter in the class of 2024 and I live in Odenton, MD. I have been playing sports since I was four years old. I started playing soccer and tennis. I still play with family and friends when I can.

When I started playing volleyball at 9 years old, I fell in love with the sport. My family has always taught me that being a good leader and good teammate on the court will help me in my life off the court.

As a junior, I am a captain on the Arundel High School Varsity volleyball team. This season I helped lead our team to compete for the MPSSA 4A State Championship. 

This club season I play for the MD Juniors 17 Elite Black team located in Jessup, MD.

I am interested in receiving an excellent education, while playing volleyball on the collegiate level. My current weighted GPA is 3.72.

I have a true passion for helping others and working with kids. I am interested in studying early childhood development and business management. My goal is to one day own and operate day care centers.
