Ayomikun Oyemade '19 Recruiting Profile

A couple of years ago, I would've never thought that I would play volleyball. To my surprise, volleyball found me and I have come to fall in love with this sport and everything it has to offer. I love the sense of team work and great sportsmanship that volleyball requires. I began playing volleyball towards the beginning of high school and I have grown tremendously as an over-all player and in the position that I play (libero). My collegiate goal is to be able to play volleyball to my full potential while pursuing a college degree; one of my strength is being able to balance my education as well as the sport I am playing so grades are never a problem. (: I would make a great candidate for you team because I have a burning passion for volleyball and I am always willing to improve each and every day. I have a great sportsmanship and I will endeavor to make sure every one of my teammates feel welcomed or feel a sense of belonging. Pursuing volleyball in college would be a great opportunity to continue improving my skills and a great experience that I would remember for the rest of my life.
