My name is Alessia Regazzoni and I am a senior at Saint James School in Maryland. I aspire to be on a college team, and am willing to put in the work to reach my dream of playing in college. I believe my best fit would be a DII school that offers medicine study. My first position is an outside hitter, but I have had experience with right side and middle blocking. I have been playing volleyball for about 5-6 years and have played at the Varsity level ever since I started high school. I am a hard worker on and off the field, and have an honor role at Saint James. My goal each game and practice is to improve step by step. I chose something to work on each practice or game and endeavor to make that skill better. I am a good candidate because I can balance both athletics and academics all at once. Going to a boarding school and playing club volleyball at Panhandle Boomers has taught me skills necessary for college. I am different from other candidates because I want to learn something every time I step on the court, and every time I am on the court I put one-hundred percent effort into everything, such as stretching, warmups, playing time, and even post game time.
