Personal Statement

I would like to be able to play at either a Division II or III school. I love getting everyone excited for our games and being a leader. I always try my hardest going for the ball and making plays. I make sure to get everyone to stay positive, because volleyball is a mental sport as well as a physical one. As a Junior I was designated floor captain because I was always on the court and because of my leadership. As a Senior I was voted as an All Star by the coaches in my District. I am now a coach for the CMASS Open U14 team.

Outside hitter, Coach Beth Rosa evaluation: Clarissa Tucker is the most solid all-around player on the team. She’s hard on herself and will try to play more than her area at times, but in the interest of helping her team – not truly being a ball hog. She’s very coachable, works incredibly hard, and is STRONG. She needs to learn to control that strength when serving and hitting to improve her accuracy, but she is absolutely an asset to any team and has a big career ahead of her.
