Leading and teaching others has been a passion of mine since I began taekwondo at a very young age. The pillars of respect, discipline, confidence, and judgment were instilled in me. I began playing volleyball and applied my knowledge as a martial artist to the sport: you must respect your opponents, discipline yourself in practice, have confidence in your team, and make good judgment during games. This allowed me to raise my game higher and make me a fiercer competitor. It's also allowed me to become a natural leader on and off the court. I am dedicated to the game and want to lift up not only myself but my whole team higher, whether I'm on the court or not. And if I'm not on the court, I will always put in 110% of my effort to earn my spot and lead my team in a great game of volleyball. Because it's not always about winning, it's about the experiences that you and your team have together.
