Lila Moniz '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches I'm Lila Moniz I am currently a freshman at Marblehead High School. I have been playing volleyball for three seasons now, I made varsity my freshman year and quickly became a starter. I played an age group up on the 16s National team with Avidity Volleyball Club and will be continuing to try out an age group up. When I started volleyball in the 7th grade I quickly became motivated, from peppering with my friend in our backyard for hours every day to going to the gym on a strict schedule with targeted workouts to improve my overall vertical and physical health. 

I am a hard worker and have never been one to back down from a challenge or a demanding schedule, I'd like to think of myself as very committed to the sport and a player who can intake the coach's information and attempt to apply it to my play fairly fast. As for my aspirations, I am a strong student and hope to go to a school that challenges me academically as of right now I am very interested in the pre-med path. I know the idea of playing volleyball while studying medicine is a lot of work but as I said I am a hard worker.
