Personal Statement

My main goal is to get a great college education.  My dream with that would to play volleyball collegiately. As a libero/ DS I am the leader in the back row.  I am also the biggest asset to our teams defensive game. With that said I will have to work hard to own the back row and to be a leader for the defensive part of the team in college too.  Playing volleyball in high school has been amazing and humbling at the same time especially my Sophmore year.  Our varsity team was ranked number one in the state and was expected to win another state championship.  Then when we lost in the regional finals to a rival team was a reality check that it isn't going to just happen because everyone thinks it should.  This has made me want to work even harder for my junior and senior year.  I am not only a great athlete but also very driven academically.  As a sophomore I am taking AP classes and maintaining a 3.9 grade point average.  I intend to take college classes my junior and senior year.  To help prepare myself for college.  Please contact me or my parents if you have any further questions.
