My entire life I have grown up around sports. With having parents that went to college for athletics, I felt like my life was pretty much already set in sports. My unconditional love for volleyball is indescribable. I started volleyball 4 years ago and have been in love ever since. My first year of club I knew nothing, but I got the hang of it and am who I am because of my struggle in the beginning. I could be in the gym for hours and not get sick of it. With my time playing volleyball it’s always been, “One more hit, then we can leave.” One more hit turns into another hour of hitting.
As a student-athlete I believe it is important to give 110% on and off the court, whether it's community work or school. I have experienced setbacks through my volleyball career, but I refuse to let that truly define me. No matter how many setbacks I have, I will continue to work hard and go the extra mile.
Since I started, I have dreamed of playing volleyball in college. I am fueled by playing with the competitiveness of others and absorbing the talent around me. Knowing that everyone wants to be there and give their all is something I crave to be around. So, I will always try my best to get to the next level and I cannot wait to see what my future holds as a volleyball player!
