I’ve been told how difficult it is to make it as a college athlete at my height. Instead of giving up, I worked harder and set goals. I made myself coachable and learned how to coach my teammates up while giving constructive criticism. I attend a very small high school where volleyball has not been a focal point. My teammates and I have worked very hard to change the culture by engaging our classmates and community.
