Hello Coaches! My name is Brooklyn Berggren.
I’ve been playing the sport of volleyball since i was 6 and started the competitive side of the sport at 9. Ever since I started playing I’ve been put on the court as a middle and occasionally had the role of a DS. I work on trying to be as versatile of a player as I can, even if a certain skill isn’t required in the position I play I still value it greatly.
In the fall I play for my school, Lake of The Woods High School. However in the spring I play for Lady Lakers Volleyball Club. Although I take pride in this sport and try my best to improve I also act like this in school. I have a 3.95 GPA for this past school year and the years before that i’ve kept it up. I work hard to excel academically and in the long run want to become a Paramedic Firefighter.
In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, working with animals, and working with my local Fire department on calls and in the station as a Jr. Firefighter.
I find myself to be very competitive and things don’t always end up going my way. When things go wrong I try to see around it and fix the mistake and make it better. I’m excited to bring this mindset both on and off the court and meet people who share those values!
