My name is Emma Wasiloski, I am a Libero in the 2025 graduating class and I play for Concordia Academy Roseville in Minnesota. What I pay attention to in the colleges that I'm interested in is the environment. My goal after college is to become a youth pastor and work with high schoolers, so I am looking for a college that would be able to provide a Christian atmosphere where I can be surrounded by professors and peers that can support me in my goal to reach the younger generations for Christ.
On the court I am confident and loud; I let my teammates know what I need from them, while also making sure I am putting in my best effort to make them shine as well. I thrive with feedback and I'm not afraid of criticism if it means I can become better. My number one goal is to play the game for God and give all praise to Him in everything I accomplish. He is the reason I am blessed to have the opportunity to play at the level that I am. I give my 100% to every practice, match, lift, or whatever it may be, I never let myself give up.
In the 2022 season I had the privilege to lead my team to state as the starting varsity libero as a sophomore. We walked away with 4th place and I couldn't be more proud of how hard the team worked to get to that spot. We are hoping to make it to state again in this 2023 season.
I bring excitement and energy to the court, but I know how to lock in and bring seriousness to the game. I love to smile and hype my teammates up, I love to show them the value that they bring to the team. I always try my best to bring the love of Jesus to the court and make sure I show respect to both my teammates and coaches.
