Maya Watkins '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'9" outside hitter from East Buchanan Highschool.  I am a multi-sport athlete who has accomplished winning state basketball my freshmen year. I didn't get a chance to participate in track this year because COVID struck and shut down our school.  I play for Club North Volleyball, located in Kansas City.  I am a phenomanal student with a 4.0 GPA who continues to reach above and beyond.   I also participate in STEM, STEAM, STUCO, and choir.  I work well with others and love the unity aspect that teams create.  I expect everyone on the team to work as hard as I do at all times and to push themselves to make our team as good as we can be.  I plan on becoming something in the medical field when I graduate.
