Calista "Cali" Bokenkroger '21 Recruiting Profile

My hope is to find a college that will challenge me both academically and athletically. I would like to find a school that has a strong pre-med program that provides a solid foundation for my future career.  I am self-driven and have an internal desire to be better and continually improve.  I am proud of being able to maintain straight A's while challenging myself in honors and AP courses.  I am motivated to push myself harder to achieve all that I possibly can.  I enjoy working hard for my team, family,  coach, but most importantly for me. 

The highlight of my volleyball career so far was leading my team to State back to back years.  It was an amazing experience to find that bond and connect with my older teammates. We worked together as a second-year school and fought all the way to the State championship tournament.  Our first year we achieved fourth, but this year we trained as a team together and fought for 3rd. I believe that as a setter it is my responsibility to both lead my teammates on the court and be a friend both on and off the court. I try to always be strong and give a 110% on the court and in life.
