Samantha Hope '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Hope. I typically go by Sam but I have multiple other nicknames. My favorite thing about volleyball is the feeling that I've improved enough to feel a difference.  I have played volleyball since fourth grade. I've played for two club teams. My favorite club team I've play for was SEMO HEAT, although all of the girls on the team were 18 and I was 15 they loved to help me improve throughout the season. I went to Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona with my SEMO HEAT team placing 3rd in Bronze. Nationals was by far my favorite volleyball moment. I love the game and the relationships it creates with my teammates. I also love playing volleyball because it makes me feel productive. When I'm off the court I enjoy shopping, working out, hunting and watching other sports on TV. I would like to play volleyball at the next level so I can be the best version of myself, learning time management and developing leadership traits. Playing volleyball will help me outside of Highschool and College in the work force for many reasons. School is not my favorite but I still work hard to obtain good grades and make the best of it.
