Kayten Hagan '23 Recruiting Profile

Current (September 2023):

I am a freshman setter for McCook Community College in Region 9 NJCAA.  I know that for my degree in elementary education/special education I will need to continue on to a 4-year institution.  Prefer a fast tempo offense.  I am super competitive player that does not like to lose and provides a high level of maturity and leadership to my team.  Looking for the next fit to continue on my academic and volleyball athletic after graduating from Junior College.  

For College:

I am excited to start my journey to being a collegiate volleyball player!  I absolutely love the game, play with a high level of enthusiasm and could spend every day learning more about how to become a better player and help improve my team.  I thrive in environments where I can see improvement in myself and with my teammates.  The thrill of competing at a high level pushes me to compete each day in practice. My educational goal is to obtain a degree in Elementary Education as I thoroughly enjoy working with young children.  My club teammates awarded me with the "hustle" award which I feel defines my work ethic.  My personality traits favor a strong systematized process, which means I like order, structure and a good foundation.  A side note, I love Cross-Fit and it has really been important in improving my athletic measurables.  I am looking forward to this process of finding the best fit for me as a volleyball player that will complement me as an individual and help me grow and develop into a vital part of the team.  Look forward from hearing from you!
