I have played volleyball for the past 9 years and have and have a passion for the game, which is why I have a desire to play at the college level.
I currently play RS and MB for my high school varsity and club volleyball teams. Last year I began playing as a starting attacker for River City Jrs volleyball club from Omaha, which competes at he national level and is ranked in the top 20% of club teams in the United States. I play summer league sand volleyball for The Volleyball Academy. My current hitting average this season is 67%.
I played 8th grade and freshman years as a setter. I have also had to fill in for RS and OH positions in summer league.
I began playing volleyball for recreational team at the age of 7. From that point, I fell in love with the game. I played at the recreational level for 3 more years, and then began playing competitively for my middle school, high school, and club teams. During both years of middle school volleyball, I was named Most Valuable Player.
I also played on the JV Reserves school basketball team for Bellevue East m freshman and sophomore years, where I scored an average of eight points per game. My game high score was 16 points in the Omaha NE Holiday Tournament 2017-2018.
I run the 400 and 800 m individual and relay races for my high school track team. At Logan Fontenelle Middle School, my 4*800 relay team broke the school record at the Conference Meet. I received a varsity letter in track as a freshman, and competed in the Nebraska Class 1-A District Meet. I missed a month of track my sophomore year due to having surgery so my numbers were not a good as previous years.
My Sophomore year at Bellevue East High School, I was accepted into the National Honor Society and Leadership Academy for both sports and academics. I have been on the Honor Roll at Bellevue East since the first semester, freshman year.
